The Environ pond was originally designed to capture storm run off water from many surrounding areas beyond the Environ HOA community including the Olney Village Mart and Olney Towne Shopping Centers, Safeway and Giant food stores and community streets within Environ HOA. The pond has evolved into a very charming aesthetic amenity of the Environ HOA community and has an asphalt paved walking path which goes around the perimeter of the pond area.
Environ HOA has two sets of tennis courts located at the intersection of Spartan Road and O'Hara Circle and the other located off of Marksman Circle
Environ HOA Athletic Field is located at the top of the hill at the intersection of Spartan Road and Prince Phillip Drive. The HOA pays for maintenance of the field to include routine mowing, weeding of the infield and installation of new ball field dirt mix when needed. The field may be used by any resident of the community at no charge however, exclusive use of the field by any resident or outside group is not permitted.
The Environ Clubhouse Facility is located at 18000 O'Hara Circle, Olney, MD. The entire bottom level of the clubhouse is the pool men's & women's bathhouse and life guard office. The upstairs of the clubhouse is mainly used for community meetings of the 5 sub-communities.
The clubhouse is located at the pool and the bottom half of the clubhouse building is the pool bath house and guard office.
The facility can be rented by residents for private parties at a rate of $35 per hour with a 4 hour minimum and a $250 security deposit. Residents interested in renting the facility should contact Michelle Whiting at Abaris Realty to confirm date availability. Rental applications can be downloaded from the website. All members must be in good standing (current in their Environ HOA dues) in order to obtain pool passes and in order to rent the clubhouse facility.
The facility has 2 recreation rooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen with a microwave, sink and fridge, a TV, stereo and VCR. The facility also has about 19 six-foot long tables and about 47 folding chairs.
